Position: Taproom and Kitchen Support
Reporting: Taproom Manager Manager, Brett Thurston
Role Overview
To assist our Taproom and Kitchen staff so that they may better serve our patrons and provide a memorable experience to all that visit us.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Warmly welcoming guests as they enter the taproom, providing assistance and answering any questions they may have about our offerings.
- Bussing and clearing tables promptly and efficiently to ensure a clean and inviting environment for our guests.
- Monitoring and replenishing water glasses for guests, ensuring their needs are met in a timely manner.
- Supporting the front of house team with various tasks, including running food and drinks, and helping to maintain the overall flow of service.
- Collaborating closely with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and delivered to guests accurately and efficiently.
- Operating dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, maintaining a hygienic and organized workspace.
- Assisting with basic drink and cocktail preparation tasks such as cutting fruit, portioning ingredients, and assembling garnishes as needed.
- Conducting regular cleaning tasks throughout the taproom and kitchen area, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Ensuring the fridge and merchandise wall is consistently stocked.
- Use of software tools, Square and Slack to keep up with orders and communication with customers.
- Assisting with tracking all inventory of packaged products.
- Responsible for cleanliness and inventory tracking of taproom glassware.
Working Conditions
- Varying schedule and hours, dependant on taproom needs.
- Varying temperature, indoor/outdoor environments and noise levels.
- Taproom, kitchen, production.
