My name is Kristen Dubnick, I’m from Brandon Manitoba and this is my success story. I had been a server for almost 10 years and was looking for a change in my life. I wasn’t really sure what I wanted in a career but I knew that I wanted to help people and encourage a positive lifestyle.
After some research I found a program for Massage Therapy offered in Brandon that seemed to be a perfect fit for what I was looking for. A challenging sixteenth month program that tests time management, determination, and patience. As I learned my skills increased and so did my passion for massage therapy. Although the program challenged me at times it was clear I had chosen the right path and I was able to take the challenge head on.
After graduation it was time to start my career. Through self promotion and a little luck I was able to find the perfect business opportunity to kickstart my new career within two weeks of graduation. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity and support given to me by the MMF. I could not have done it if not for the constant encouragement and support.
